Description
Nebbiolo, regarded as the king of Italian red varieties, loves growing on the steep, rocky slopes of the Feathertop vineyard. The nutrient-poor, unirrigated soils combined with ample sunshine and cool nights allow for the development of the characters for which Nebbiolo is revered – a powerful, complex flavour profile, crisp natural acidity and a talc-like tannin structure. This wine displays aromas and flavours of violets, dark cherry, wild herbs with a hint of tar and tobacco leaf. Whilst light in colour, it is a powerful wine brimming with ultra-fine tannins which leaves the palate lip-smackingly dry. Pairs well with Charcuterie and game meats.
