Feathertop Montepluciano 2021

Our 2021 vintage was outstanding, and this wine is a prime example of how oak can add subtle complexity without overshadowing the ultimate hero at hand, the pure fruit. 

Fermented in open top fermenters this wine saw nearly two weeks on skins. It’s bold without being brash.  Cherries wild strawberries vanilla and savoury herbs encompass the palate and nose. 
The tannins are chewy yet refined. A Fantastic uncomplicated example of what we are excited and proud to present as a newcomer to the Feathertop Family.
