Inspired by a wine of the same name that Kel and Janelle enjoyed a number of years ago in Paris, 2018 marks our fourth vintage of this exciting style of wine. Picked earlier than our full-blown Pinot Gris to provide a fresher, more Grigio-like flavour profile, we pushed the boundaries a little more in the winery to produce this years? version. Giving the juice an extended time on skins has resulted in the extraction of more colour, flavour and drying, ?phenolic grip.? The flavour profile is pretty and aromatic, displaying fragrant rose petal, nashi pear, citrus and green apple characters. The highly textured, ?grippy? palate finishes crisp and dry, hopefully leaving you screaming for more. This wine displays the essence of ‘drinkability’ and is quickly becoming a Feathertop favourite.
