At Feathertop, we are on a never-ending quest to provide you with the best possible examples of the varieties we grow in the vineyard. We came to a conclusion last year that we were releasing and drinking our Cabernet Sauvignon too early, not giving the abundant natural acid and tannins of the variety enough time to soften and integrate. This Cabernet Sauvignon is richer and bolder than the norm, displaying flavours and aromas of ripe, dark red berries, blackcurrants, bitter chocolate and tobacco leaf. The soft, textured tannins leave the finish long and dry. It will continue to age gracefully for many years to come.
