Voted Best Sparkling Wine at the North East Victorian Wine Challenge. Score 95 points. Blanc De Blanc is a remarkable wine made entirely of Chardonnay. Kel has been inspired by French Blanc de Blanc for 30 years now and this, our first vintage release has been a true labour of love. Made solely from pristine Alpine Valley Chardonnay, this Blanc De Blanc is bottle fermented and spent more than thee and half years on lees. This has resulted in a wine of great elegance, finesse and complexity. Flavours of green apples, nashi pear and citrus are complimented by rich toasted brioche notes. The racy acidity leaves the long palate crisp and dry.
Along with our standard release we will be disgorging a limited amount of this wine with zero dosage. This means no sugar additions at disgorgement which leaves the wine bone dry (one of Kel’s favourite styles to enjoy).
Drink with: as an accompaniment to canapes or serve as an aperitif. A perfect match with oysters and cooked and uncooked seafood.
